Robotics Club Rules & Regulations
Welcome to the Robotics Club! We are happy to have you here and we want more than anything for the student to be successful. It's important to remember that even though our club activities are not an official part of UIL, we try to align ourselves to the UIL methodology. Part of any successful program is adherence to club rules and regulations. The following rules and regulations must be followed or could result in the student's exclusion from the Robotics Club.
By submitting an application for a Robotics Team, you are agreeing to abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the district, school and club.

Part of any successful program is adherence to club rules and regulations. The following rules and regulations must be followed or could result in the student's exclusion from the Robotics Club.
- Consistent participation is necessary for the student to be successful. Routinely missing scheduled meetings could result in the student being disqualified from driving competitions. Please make sure that you view the Robotics Calendar before filling out the application so that you may select a team that meets on days when you are routinely free from after school activities.
- Team meetings take place in open air collaboration spaces surrounded by classrooms. Noise levels are to be kept to a minimum. There is to be no running or excited behaviors in the areas surrounding the collaboration space or the surrounding halls. Collaboration spaces should be cleaned up at the end of the event. Any deviation from this rule could result in our losing the collaboration spaces.
- There will be zero tolerance for misbehavior, theft, or property destruction while on campus. All district, school, and club rules are to be followed throughout the length of the program. All theft or property destruction issues will be referred to the school resources officer and principal for resolution. Misbehavior will be dealt with in one or more of the following ways taking into consideration the level of misbehavior.
- Request to student to disengage from said behavior and sitting out of the Robotic activity for a short period of time during the meeting.
- Request to student to disengage from said behavior, sit out of Robotic activity for remainder of meeting necessitating a phone call to parent for immediate pick-up.
- Request to parent to pull student from Robotics Club for one event and all meetings leading up to the event.
- Request to parent to pull student from Robotics Club for remainder of the school year.
